Cub Scout Hike, January 2009

At 9:00 Saturday morning January 23, 2009, it was a little bit chilly, but that didn’t deter eighteen people from having a great time at Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge.

Six Cub Scouts accompanied by two Boy Scouts, four siblings, and six adults enjoyed the morning and early afternoon animal sightings during the hike, and some lunch and fishing afterward.
The activities were led by Bear Den Leader Mr. Harry Dare.
The participants were:
Tiger Cubs Nate Ridgway, Justin Hatcher, and James Chapman; Bear Cubs Michael Dare, Samuel Rowan, and Japheth Eckhardt; Boy Scouts CJ Rowan and Kaj Eckhardt; siblings Hannah Rowan, Heike Eckhardt, SIlas Eckhardt, and Elijah Eckhardt; and adults Harry Dare, Rick Hatcher, Brad Ridgway, Tricia Rowan, Jennifer Eckhardt, and Troy Eckhardt.
