Posted by Scoutmaster on December 27, 2009 at 6:51 am

On December 27th, 2009, several of the Troop 804 members attended the first of several camp outs at the new Longleaf Pine Preserve property, which is owned Volusia County. The new camoing area is situated next to a lake which has been named “Lake Tuscarora” after our scouting district.

The purpose of this campout was to assit CJ Long in planning his Eagle Project, which is to create a path around the lake for hiking. The path will require a few bridges across swampy areas.
