We’ve been as busy as…Cub Scouts!

Our beloved Mrs. Jennifer (the assistant cub master and Webelos den leader) has been out on maternity leave since little Katie Jane Elizabeth Eckhardt was born on February 12th. We miss Mrs. Jennifer very much, and we can’t wait until she is able to come to Cub Scouts again! In her absence, we’ve been doing our best to make her proud by completing lots of requirements.

Our Tigers, Wolves, and Webelos scouts have been meeting together during the month of March. We’ve learned how to check our pulses, we’ve talked about the dangers of drugs and alcohol, and we’ve been practicing our push ups, sit ups, pull ups, standing long jump, standing high jump, 50 yard dash, and 1/4 mile run. We’ve also talked about primary colors and secondary colors, we’ve discovered the name for art materials (medium or media), and we’ve made artist portfolios, collages, mobiles, color wheels, facial profiles, and clay sculptures. By the end of our time together next week all of our cubs will have earned at least two awards.
