The time for the 1910 Tuscarora Spring Camp-O-Ree finally arrived! Yes, you read that year correctly. In celebration of 100 years of scouting in the USA, Tuscarora District used 1910 as the theme for this year’s spring camp-o-ree. The fall camp-o-ree will have a futuristic theme, and the two patches will fit together making a complete unit.
This year Troop 804 won many of the honors. The Purple Squirrel Patrol received a second place prize in archery, and the first place prize in the bowline race, shelter building, firemaking, and marbles. They also came is second place for the spirit stick. The plan is to win the stick at the fall camp-o-ree!
The troop is also very proud of our first non-lashed gateway. Although the gateway did not win any awards, we think it was the best one out there!

Did C.J. get a fire going?
I think CJ got a fire going. The Purple Squirrels won first place in this event, so I’ll bet he did.
