Camp La-No-Che Personal Checklist

Scouts, I have compiled a list of items you will want to bring to camp with you. There is a ton of information about camp in the Leader’s Guide as well.

Do not forget your medical form. This can be found on pages 62-64 in the Leader’s Guide or through the links on our website.

We must discuss whether or not we want to go on Big Stump, which will involve bringing throw-away clothes. We will also be discussing other troop-time activities at the next meeting. Do you want to have any input? Good. Be there. Read the rest of the article »

1910 Spring Camp-O-Ree

The time for the 1910 Tuscarora Spring Camp-O-Ree finally arrived! Yes, you read that year correctly. In celebration of 100 years of scouting in the USA, Tuscarora District used 1910 as the theme for this year’s spring camp-o-ree. The fall camp-o-ree will have a futuristic theme, and the two patches will fit together making a complete unit.

Webelos Woods, 2010

On March 12th-14th, 2010, the Webelos scouts of Pack 804, along with the scouts of Troop 804 attended the 2010 Webelos Woods at Camp Duval in Deleon Springs.

Trailblazer Patrol First Camp Out

Tipisa Native American Weekend

On February 6th, 2010, several of the Troop and Pack 804 members attended the second annual Tipisa Native American Weekend (TNAW), hosted by the Order of the Arrow, Tipisa Lodge.

Planning CJ’s Eagle Project at Lake Tuscarora

On December 27th, 2009, several of the Troop 804 members attended the first of several camp outs at the new Longleaf Pine Preserve property, which is owned Volusia County. The new camoing area is situated next to a lake which has been named “Lake Tuscarora” after our scouting district.
